She waylays Imelda Marcos the way no Filipino has yet
Our very good friend Veronica Pedrosa made this highly personal documentary which I would recommend for viewing.
Not only because my journalist-hubby Alan comes out at the start before film director Joel Lamangan.
But because Rica puts Martial Law and the Marcoses in the context that they ought to be placed. That the road from Marcos’ Martial Law was never broken. In fact it led to the mass massacre in the town of Ampatuan, Maguindanao on November 23, 2009.

Nice try Pedrosa! Ferdinand Marcos was already ousted in 1986, died in 1989. This Massacre was in 2009.
Why don’t you link a story few years ago where you were too aggressively pressing for answers like you own Imelda Marcos to admit she did your family wrong.
There’s a bad blood between this writer and the Marcoses, when clearly your mother should have asked permission to write a book about Imelda but ignored her rights and privacy. It’s like you entered someone’s room and started trying on their underwear and bras if they fit.

No need to ask permission.
She was a public personality.
