Dear everyone,

I will be doing two things this week –

Site maintenance

And contemplation

Because of the difficulties that many of you have been experiencing going into my site,  I have decided to devote the next few days to trying to solve this problem.

Please bear with me.

There may be times that my site will not be available or that your comments might disappear.

I would suggest backing up your  comments  elsewhere in the next few days. And reposting them, please, next week should they disappear.

Also on Friday, I hope to  do my yearly contemplation on the deeper meaning of life. For this reason, I may not be able to update anything.

I hope to see you all again by the weekend (if the site maintenance is successful) or by Monday.

A Blessed Easter to everyone.

And I’d like to thank you all for our Cyber Plaza Miranda.

Raissa

I can change it back. HOPEFULLY.

It actually happened, sometime in World War II in Europe.

A battle ground between Germany against the allied forces.
But it was a Christmas ‘ceasefire’.

All warring sides dropped their guns, stopped the bombardment against each other to recollect a common tradition between warring ‘christian’ brothers.

Were there christmas carols? Instead of gunfire? In that shortness of time?

      BTW.
Will you share the Eucharist with Renato Corona and his family? Will it be holier without him standing in front or behind you?

Will everyone celebrate with him the early morning Easter Sun Day celebration that the tomb is empty, and that Jesus, our Christ (savior), is alive.

What is the meaning of all this, Mr Chief Justice Renato Corona? You are the most ‘learned’, ‘distinguished’ and supreme magistrate of the land. Tell us, can you teach us to be like you?

Why hast thou Betrayed our Trust?

Raissa, you really need a break. Thank you for all the hard work, courage and patriotism you bestowed upon us. You rekindled our love for our country.
I will always include you in my prayers, that God protects you at all times…you and your family. God bless.

Yeah. But I always had this dark streak in me.

Imagine, at the age of ten I wrote – “The moment we are born, we begin to die.”

Imagine how THAT colored my life.

      • Muhammad Eisa de Jesus says

        April 2, 2012 at 5:16 PM

Righto! And the moment we die, we begin to live. For eternal life, that is. Remember St. Francis of Assissi: “For it is is giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.” Let’s work for these last two words and not feel morbid about the idea of the inevitable death. It is in living our life well according to God’s Will (like changing ourselves and our society and promoting such changes) that we are prepared to die for life eternal.

You’ve got some nuggets in there.

I guess, by that time one would know about conscience, knowing the rightness and wrongness of your spoken word(s) and/or action(s), sin has crept into your moral conscience and moral well being that death is not far from it.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23

If you have a dark streak then i hope you wouldn’t mind if I send a link that is deeper than religion and find why you are becoming the mouthpiece of the people, in case you heard about the STO or Service to Others orientation. Have peace and the happiest bonding with your family.

          Hi Netty.

Share it with the rest, if you don’t mind.

I hope Raïssa would allow it to be published.

If not, then ask our dear Raïssa for my email address.

Be forewarned, I may have seen and read the worst & the absurd. Which may not yet have been compared with your ‘link that is deeper than religion and find why you are becoming the mouthpiece of the people, in case you heard about the STO or Service to Others orientation.’.

        • netty says

          April 5, 2012 at 8:49 AM

@Mel, I know that you are a very smart and open -minded lady like the rest of us, (wink wink )but I am reluctant to share this with the rest as this is a bigger issue about our existence and our roles being on earth.Yes, this maybe the worst and the absurd, but you can either ignore or absorb the information. I don’t think I can handle conflicts well, if I just blow this on this STO community group. I appreciate to be one of CPM. How about I send it to Raissa and then she can please forward it to you and read it as well? Thanks Raissa. Take care always.

          @netty

You wrote, “I don’t think I can handle conflicts well, if I just blow this on this STO community group. “.

I hope you’re not a Hermit. SORRY. No pun intended. I respect your claim to make peace.

I reckon, you have a fear of rejection or too much anticipation but focused more on the negative vibes.

This I can say, nothing is new under the Sun.

Believe in your fellow CPMers. After all, our dear moderator doesn’t pressure us to provide our full names. This is actually a Troll. However, intrigued as it may be, lets limit to a minimum.

In one of the past articles of our dear Raïssa, I tried TWICE to share this multi-awarded documentary put into a movie.

          Zeitgeist: The Movie: http://www.zeitgeistthefilm.com/

On a second try, it was nice of Raïssa to allow me to share the link, and try to stir some discussion since I thought it could stir some inquest.

The first part of that documentary was ‘controversial’ since it goes against tradition and thousands of years of religious fervor from different cultures of the globe. To cut it short, it is supported by archaeological and anthropological research and discoveries.

As for your link, Raïssa can you please forward it to my email address @netty’s link. THANK YOU.

@netty, I think I have an idea of what it may be. On another token, I hope it is not the sort of the Scientology dogma or aliens’ reasoning.

Like many, I would Google your key words – Service to Others orientation.

The result are with zetatalk dot com sites.

Anyhow, have a good lenten break, take care too.

Another weird stuff that might be a rainbow of color.

For until when one (e.g. seed) is put to death and buried, it can not spring back to life and propagate.

Sa tagalog, ang isang butil na palay ay sasabong ng marami kung naitanim sa lupa.

A timely example is The Parable of the Mustard Seed.

    Raissa,

Yes, you need all the time this week for yourself and your family. There’s so much to contemplate …..for you and for us, for all Filipinos, wherever we may be.
We bring with us all the concerns, personally and communally, before the Man for Others hanging on the cross.
May we meet him on Easter morning so renewed with great hope to continue the path of truth and with the courage to pursue the cleansing of the unfit in government. Understand that , chief (of all)?

Hope you can look straight into the eyes of that Man for others and listen to His message to you chief… realize that this is the best time… to admit your lies before Him and the people and …chief…do the right thing…. remove yourself from the throne and accept all the consequences as an ordinary citizen.

May the gift and grace of Easter be with you Raissa. May you continue to be the Woman for others not only in our cyberg Plaza Miranda but more….. to the majority of Filipinos…

Will your email open for us.

    Easter Blessings, Raissa.

Woman for others – that is the Ateneo saying :)

I did take a subject there.

      • mieming says

        April 2, 2012 at 2:42 PM

not exclusive and monopoly of higher learning like ateneo…etc.

if we go to so many grassroot communities of the country… particularly the basic communities…in some places BEC ….in others… GKK

we find concrete examples… of men, women, poor for others…. even in the worst of times, they offer whatever they have…. most often none, materially…. but they offer themselves of whatever they can do. what an inspiration….!!!

you, Raissa, is in a role that can continue to inspire them… they can’t through the pen… but they will surely appreciate if their values are pursued by others….

this is the symbol of a woman for others…. to limit it for ateneo only…. will lose the full ness of the meaning of the unknown and ordinary… those who have not entered the gates of ateneo.

the same gates….where we know that a chief passed several times…

        “… don’t call me Christ-like.”

        sira, (pabirong kurot).

ibig kong sabihin, iyong trabahong ginagawa mo sa kapuwa mo.

Your unselfish servitude, you don’t ask for reward, not many are in the same mold as the others.

Your mind tipping with your fingers on the keyboard is mightier than a sword to slew.

For by your words (articles), you enrich ideas (truth), to waken the nodding people to rise up (enlighten) and take the challenge (for social change).

You are a leader. For that, your works are Christ-like. For by their works (fruits) you will know them … – Matthew 7:16.

Likewise, happy Easter too to your family as well.

        Jesus is alive and well.

Agree 1000%. Raissa, you may not want to admit it, but you have ignited a fire that has long been waiting for a spark. Why do you think all these guys are here in this Plaza Miranda you built? A lot of Filipinos have been looking for that flag to follow. That flag that would lead to the country’s redemption from mediocrity and dishonor.
You have waved a banner a lot of our fellow citizens have chosen to follow because it is a banner of truth and decency and they have avidly rallied to it. Thank you for that! And keep up the good work! All the best!
