Dear everyone,

I will be doing two things this week –

Site maintenance

And contemplation

Because of the difficulties that many of you have been experiencing going into my site,  I have decided to devote the next few days to trying to solve this problem.

Please bear with me.

There may be times that my site will not be available or that your comments might disappear.

I would suggest backing up your  comments  elsewhere in the next few days. And reposting them, please, next week should they disappear.

Also on Friday, I hope to  do my yearly contemplation on the deeper meaning of life. For this reason, I may not be able to update anything.

I hope to see you all again by the weekend (if the site maintenance is successful) or by Monday.

A Blessed Easter to everyone.

And I’d like to thank you all for our Cyber Plaza Miranda.

Raissa

Archbishop Nicholas Chia of Singapore gave his Easter Message entitled “Resurrection – centre of our faith ” (Catholic News – the archdiocesan newspaper). These are some excerpts:
-Christianity is the religion of Christ crucified and risen. Christ redeemed us by His death and resurrection. As St. Paul puts it; “Jesus was handed over to death for our sins and raised up for our justification” (Rom 4:25)
-We have the light of the Risen Lord in us only when we recognise, respect and love each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
-May the Risen Lord live in us and may we radiate Him to others by our life and example, reaching out to those in need, promoting love, justice and peace, bringing hope to those in despair, light to those in darkness, joy to those in sorrow, and love those who are neglected.
-Christ is risen and He wants to light up our lives.
    .
    …..respect and love….
at this point in time during the impeachment process I really find it hard in my conscience to “…respect and love…” after all the lies and total disregard to seek the truth just by citing technicalities and twisting or flip flopping the law.

….bringing hope to those in despair….
how can you bring hope to those PAL employees who were indeed denied justice three times.

…..Christ is risen and He wants to light up our lives….
with this phrase…I totally believe with all my mind and heart that our Lord Christ is risen. He is the ONLY ONE who can LIGHT UP OUR LIVES.

So, let us all seek for truth and justice so we can light up our lives….

    CHRIST IS RISEN, ALLELUIA!!!!!!!

A blessed Easter to all our kababayans specially to you Raissa and all those faceless OPM group ( eOPM, CPMers, cybernauts or whatever name ) who never get tired of looking and seeking for TRUTH.

Happy Easter to you and family too.

This morning my group and I distributed leaflets and stickers calling for resignation or removal (by conviction) of Corona from office. While many in the “sweating crowd” such as vendors, drivers, construction workers etc. were receptive to our call, others seem to be clueless on what is happening in the courts. Kind of frustrating.

I know your blog is getting a lot of mileage among those who visit the net but many of our citizens are dependent on radio to keep abreast of what is happening in our courts. Unfortunately many radio and TV hosts seem to be leaning towards that horrid man of the many spurious honors as many as Marcos’ spurious medals.

Again – have a blessed week and may you receive the many blessings of the resurrection.

My, you’re still working on your site. Get some rest and go somewhere quiet. We all need to.

“in quiet places, reason abounds!”……. I forgot who said this but it has helped me so many times.

Advance happy easter, Raissa and Alan and the precious son… And to my classmates here in Cyber Plaza Miranda….God bless us all.

    Hey, guys,

    I’ve just added a Caching Plug-In.

Pls tell me if the site is loading faster.

Also, I need to know if you are still getting – “Database connection error”.

I think I’ve addressed that this morning.

I’m now officially CROSS-EYED from doing PHP and CSS – which I really don’t know from Adam.

    Would appreciate feedback.

      Its getting to be sexier.

Can you add a collapse & expand button for each main number?

So that incremental comments to a main number can be collapsed or expanded?

Sorry, couldn’t help but mention it. I guess, it could wait sometime in the future.

But apart from that. great addition. multi-tasker ka na.

Ponder on this, Christ was determined to do the Father’s will, regardless of the suffering.Christ knew that His suffering would be great, but He faced it bravely. Our suffering as Christians could never be like His, but there are many ways in which we can follow Christ’s example which includes the following characteristics: commitment, courage , and endurance.

A blessed holy week ahead of us.

Have a wonderful quiet time with God ma’am Raissa. God bless you and your loved ones.

My hubby Alan had been nagging me for ages to do this.

But I could not find the right plug-in.

Finally, I took the courage in my own hands and decided – to hell with it. If this site goes down because I fiddled with the PHP I could always call up my host provider and restore it, minus some lost comments and maybe design.

          And it worked.

I don’t know how I did it – by hit and miss – but it worked.

Raissa, take care and may we all find true meaning in the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as we in our own way contemplate and meditate on this.

On a lighter side, i would like to recommend to all the readers here a good book this week….. no i am not in any way connected with the author or do i know them personally but if you have the time, “heaven is for real” is a great read specially this week.

    Happy Easter to all!

In fact, yes. God knows better. Everything is within His knowledge and permission. This time of the year, it’s timely for you Christians to contemplate as you wish to do (see. God even made your tweaking a reason for it), and I’m joining you in that contemplation, despite that I’m a Muslim. After all, we belong to the same race, nationality and advocacies. And also after all, a true Muslim follows Christ’s true teachings about obedience to his God, and a true Christian does the same. Hence, a true Christian and a true Muslim are of the same practice.
Tweaking, and what have you, must be for the better. Ditto for Philippine society. It needs tweaking of leaders. BTW, your name means Woman President.
God bless you and all of us in this post. Thanks for all you have done, been doing and hope to do yet.

Jesus was a victim of human rights violation and yet with all the powers He has at His disposal He chose to obey the will of the Father and accept the penalty of death by nailing on the cross. Such death is the most dehumanizing and the most painful penalty at that time.

As we have our break from the trial of CJ Corona, let us reflect and reexamine ourselves.

Have a meaningful lent to everyone here.
