Sometimes i think the decision of Lee Kuan Yew of singapore is right in limiting public demonstrations.
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/nation/metro-manila/01/31/13/farmers-clash-police-napc
The clash yesterday at NAPC shows na pati mga mukhang teenagers ginagamit to commit violence since they know na lusot sila sa current na batas ng Pilipinas. Dinadahilan nila na yung M-16 ng pulis ang simula ng kaguluhan but clearly sa video pinaghahampas nila ng kahoy at binugbog nila yung isang pulis kahit na nakahiga na siya sa sahig (seen at 1:01 from the abs-cbn video).
Stop the video at 1:04 balak pang saksakin or hampasin ng kahoy yung pulis na nakatalikod kahit napapaligiran na siya. Ano ito Mob rule?
I also agree with some sentiments of other pinoys, nasaan na ang Comission on Human Rights?
Do CHR take the lives of soldiers and police lightly na parang hindi mahalaga? I hope not since police + soldiers sacrifice most of their lives to protect the freedom we cherish (even the rights to express the militants dissent to issues though sometimes they abused it and causes violence).
Martial Bonifacio says
Just in case you feel the same way i do. I encourage anyone to write a letter to Mrs. Etta Rosales.
Here is the contact info for Commission on Human Rights:

Ella Tovara says

1. Punto por Punto: Protesta ng Magsasaka
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JycZm5Iye6I#!
I think the main reason kaya ganyan ang anakpawis is because of the head of NAPC na isang former Akbayan party leader.
Listen to the reasoning of the first link i posted and the punto por punto video ng ininterview si Rep. Rafael Mariano (Anakpawis). Parating ang sinisisi nila is the police and akbayan.
Natatandaan nyo last year ng nagaway ang Makabayan block and Anakbayan kung sino ang papayagang ng comelec na ma approve to join the party list group during the election 2013?
BUT this does not excuse them to be violent and act barbaric.
Note:
Makabayan block is composed of = Bayan Muna, Anakpawis, Gabriela, ACT Teachers’ Partylist, Katribu Partylist, Migrante Partylist, Courage Partylist, Akap Bata Partylist, Piston Partylist and Kalikasan Partylist
2. I COMMEND YOU S/Supt. Sanchez and his men, saludo po ako sobra :)
For exemplifying your patience against this violent leftist group.
Kailangan na kailangan ngayon ng PNP ng mga tulad nila, unlike the ones who were involved in the shootout.
moonie says
anakpawis only have themselves to blame. if they cannot control themselves and their own people, voters will not vote for them. what they did was shocking. their leaders did not show true grit, such violent people. no, they were more like rabid dogs.
leona says
Just no different as I saw on TV the Egyptians at Tahrir Square lately also.
Hindi ako nag vote vote sa mga party-list candidates ever since 1987 up to now! It was a very wrong move to create such a thing by the 1987 Constitution.
Sa sunod na Cha Cha, I hope this thing will be REMOVED once and for all. Nothing effectively good was contributed anyway.
Martial Bonifacio says
I couldnt agree more. Its better na buwagin na lang nila ang party list system since ginamit lang ito para makapasok yung iba pa nilang kamag-anak sa congress. Example na lang si Mikey Arroyo.
We toppled a dictator using a peaceful demonstration but it gave birth to this activist who now uses violence and bloodletting demonstrations.
Sad indeed :(
Sinungaling na terrorista
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/regions/02/01/13/npa-owns-deadly-negros-attack-says-sorry

This ‘list’ is an ‘alternativation’ from the present incumbents! One can say, the 13 are better than the 23 now. These 13 may not know much about lawmaking at least they haven’t stolen anything [yet].
Why not consider the 13 NEW NAMES …I’m tired and feeling hopeless of the 23 incumbent senators anyway.
Save this as a FAVORITE LIST for the MAY elections 2013 and think about it!

oh, and by the way, have you heard Gwen Garcia was locked out of her office? apparently, she went out of her office in the night covering herself with a cloth´over her head so nobody would recognize her. she attended the following day, a blessing ceremony of a project somewhere in another town, and was invited as speaker during the said ceremony. Acting Gov. Magpale, saw this opportunity and ordered the policemen to change the padlock of the office and also cut off the electric power (and probably the water supply too) so that when Gwen Garcia came back, she couldn’t enter her office anymore. She threatened to sue the Acting Gov. and warned her not to touch her things inside the padlocked office because she had inventory of all the things there including worthful paintings, her bags etc. and her brother accused the said acting Gov. Magpale of being power-hungry.
Joe America says
“Accused . . . Magpale of being power-hungry.” Right. That’s the tried and true form of argumenjt of the guilty. Accuse the other party of doing exactly what you are doing. Just like Binay, Estrada and Enrile running down to pray with Garcia and accusing Aquino of playing politics with the suspension. What, they went to Cebu just to pray?
Using prayer like that for political gain goes into the bucket of “scurrilous”. Maybe even “scumbags”.

Cool, but I am rather apathetic as to what errors OTHER PEOPLE get. But, hey maybe Raissa can jazz up her “data base error” page. I get this big black blazing headline as if the Chinese maybe got to my computer. Scares the hell out of me.
Baltazar says
Come to think of it, at the height of the Corona trial last year, this error came and you’ll notice also that those were the days when CPM comments reached thousand/s ( see left side bar) for each thread. And I am more keen to sniff a cyber attack rather than a plainly technical sortie as I noticed that this error came back when we were discussing about 25th Senator of the Republic, The Golden girl of the Senate, & the Lady in the Woods…… tsk..tsk.. any tablet for paranoia?
moonie says
you’re funny, joe. my friend told me if the chinese got into your computer they’ll do it quietly without announcing themselves. they’ll probably just look around and see what you got. then, they’ll get out just as quietly. they would not want you on heightened alert and waiting for them next time around.
@baltazar, if by ‘tablet for paranoia’ you mean medication for paranoia – there are plenty in the market. many opt for intramusculars though. they’re long lasting but can have nasty side effects. incidentally, those that think they got paranoia, dont usually have it. and those that have it, have altered reality and dont think they got it. some are resistant and hardest to medicate. ha, ha, sorry, when I first saw ‘tablet’ I thought you mean tablet as in gizmo.

Two days ago, SunStar Cebu website reported an incident of a “vaginal lock”. Someone posted a comment on how Sunstar could fall for such a hoax. A few hours later, the website posted that the news report was not true. (See: http://www.sunstar.com.ph/breaking-news/2013/01/29/vaginal-lock-report-not-true-police-265479).
Apparently, the only “vaginal lock” that happened was in the Capitol Building when the suspended governor locked herself inside claiming she could only be removed from the capitol “over my dead body”. Now it appears that she snuck out at night. Could she be a zombie?

Since I don’t know what kind of Database error you got, it would be hard to give you a remedy, but it could be that your Database have run out of space and only the IT support in charge of maintaining it can fix the problem. It may also be caused by intentional temporary stoppage of the database to do their maintenance job that should have been done at some other time. At any rate, you probably need to let those in charge know your problem (from the company that hosted your server).
