Hi Guys,

I’m just tweaking the layout of my site upon the advice of google.

I’ve removed the sidebar on the right, so everything moved to the left sidebar, including the widget showing your comments.

I’ve made the content space wider to accommodate bigger photos.

I will still be changing elements a bit by adding a footer later.

Pls. tell me what you think of it.

Thanks for coming here often.

I hope to update more often and discuss with you all as the political situation in our country heats up.

Raissa  :)

“The test of a true democratic nation is the ability of its people to change leaders regularly through fair and free elections, without fear of being shot or buried by a backhoe.”-I am seeing this at the left side just below the items sold by Drugstoredotcom.

Is this an original or somebody other than you or your hubby said this?

      It’s all mine.

I was angry over the Ampatuan massacre.

That’s a good one! Watch out, Senator Sotto might use it!

Raissa, It has a touch to make me read from the left side first to the right. A good change! Now like [email protected] it really make me think to slow down before releasing my pork ideas hahaha

Today, let us remember our American Friends it is their INDEPENDENCE DAY there. I still say THANKS TO THE AMERICANS! Happy celebrations!

And thanks to good friends in the Philippines. The Fourth of July weekend in the US is rather like fiestas here. Parades, barbecues, family and friends, hot dogs (NOT for breakfast, but for lunch; with mustard and relish and onions and ketchup, in a bun). Fireworks at the park. Lots of people display the flag at their homes and businesses. A celebration of the union for sure. Then Monday we go back to partisan ripping and tearing, which is rather like extreme checks and balances. Like extreme skiing. Risky. A tip o’ the KJJ to you!

Comment went to moderation. I notice that if I am slow in writing, that often occurs. You know, if I pause to think before typing . . . haha

      Hmmm.

      Wonder why Akismet does that.

Does it happen in your blog?

Actually, your comment went to Spam. I have to keep going to the Spam box to see if any comments were sent there. I have so much spam coming in. nesrly a thousand.

I get lots of spam, but askimet so far has not dumped many legitimate comments into the spam bucket. It could be that my name has a bad reputation attached to it from when twits like benigno would spam my comments. Or that breitbart site I recently got deleted from (extremist rightwing American gun toters). I appreciate that you dug me out.

Ahahaha, well, staring me in the face is a rather impressive ad that suggests I have forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, laugh lines, droopy jowls and turkey neck, and need an operation to correct things.

Above that is an ad telling me to go overseas and find a decent job.

Under is some esoteric set of photos about furniture or travel, it is hard to discern which. I declined to click the “airbnb” link.

Other than that, there is still a blog at the top and a space for comment below, so I’m cool with whatever design whims strike your fancy. :)

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist Then they came fof the Trade Unionists, and I did not out speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me— And there was no one left to speak for me. —Martin Niemöller (1892-1984)
