Dear fellow members of Cyber Plaza Miranda,

I am right now rushing my articles for today’s deadline with South China Morning Post.

So please forgive me if I can’t update lengthilyright now.

UPDATE: as of 5:24 PM, October 22, 2014

You can read a portion of the transcript of the FOCAP forum by clicking here.  It’s entitled President Aquino told me he’s prepared to go to jail if  “we’re back to an unjust judicial system” after his term.

I’ve included those portions about Aquino’s meeting with Vice-President Jejomar Binay, his attitude towards threat of critics to have him arrested and jailed after his term; and how he keeps tabs on social media postings like Facebook.

During this morning’s Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines forum with President Benigno Aquino  among the questions I was able to ask him was the following:

VP Binay’s spokesperson Jonvic Remulla said the President had “asked about (Binay’s) family and the Vice President replied that the family was hurting from all the lies and baseless accusations, especially [against his wife).” Remulla said“At this point, the President asked how he can help or ‘paano ako makakatulong?’”

Is this true?

I was referring to the recent over-an-hour long conversation between Vice President Binay and President Aquino.

PNoy basically told me that what actually happened was “the reverse” of what the Binay camp disclosed to the press. He told me:

“I didn’t offer to help.”

It was VP Binay who had asked him for advice, he added.

More on the forum later.

Gotta rush now.

I have a question I know that Raissa answered this with the interview she did with the VP but I noticed that it popped up again in the senate hearing, according to Riassa the VP bought the land for his piggery and supposedly sold it in 2010, but according to senator Cayetano he only leased the land but he then went on to say that the VP sold the land ???? my question is lets suppose VP did only lease the land how could he then go on and sell it ????

Same thing with Philstar and their opinion writers, except Atty. Sison and Bobit Avila. No comment silang lahat. Why? Is it martial law feeling at Philstar on order ot the majority owner? Scared of the BINAYaran dynasty!

Akala ko ako din lang ang nakakapansin nito, that sonething is not quite right in abs-cbn handling of the news, sometimes the reporter will even give extra mileage in explaining the side of Binay & tiu. Not only this but they dont ask the difficult/hard questions. But I wasn’t sure if I am the one that is biased.
