Last week Poe met with INC bigwigs to court their endorsement. Soon Roxas expects to meet INC officers for the same purpose. The INC caused havoc recently in EDSA to preempt the investigation and indictment for alleged criminal acts of INC officers.

In the latest surveys by SWS, PA, 7-11, MBC-DZRH and Laylo Research Strategies, Duterte made significant gains. In a survey conducted by Laylo very recently on March 26 to April 1, Duterte added six percentage points in his score to top the survey at 30%, while Poe took second place at 27%.

    http://www.rappler.com/nation/politics/elections/2016/128338-rodrigo-duterte-rises-laylo-poll-march-april

With the recent developments in the political milieu particularly in Cebu and elsewhere, I believe that the Duterte juggernaut will peak on Election Day for a landslide win.

On March 26 my wife and I had a lengthy conversation with Ludy, an OFW for 20 years in Hongkong. She remains single to date and has supported her 11 younger siblings in Sorsogon. She could not vote in May because she did not vote in the last two elections. But she assured that the eight registered voters in her family would all vote for Duterte and Robredo. Ludy said that all her OFW friends in Hongkong and their respective family would vote for Duterte whom they believe has the political will to effect significant changes in our country.

the protocol is that: there is a template para sa kung anong intention prayers or any relevant religious, social or events. iyong papalitan lang ng pangalan at may perma sa ibaba. kagaya ng 50th wedding anniversary ng aking parents-in-law mayroong silang blessings from Pope Francis.

mabuti nga kung may prayers from the Pope para LUMAYAS ang evil spirit sa katauhan ni du30. para integridad sa integridad ang laban come 09 may 2016

sounds to me like a nice way of saying be less stupid and aggressive.

I am more familar with diplomaticspeak than Vaticanspeak but it could well be.

After all the Catholic Church has 2 millenia of experience in dealing with barbarians.

I wonder how often they wished blessings of peace and wisdom on uncouth Goths etc.

One fact twisted – the photoshopped picture of the supposedly nurse working in Canada re Yolanda relief assistance… (I am sure you know what I am talking about).

The fact that Davao City is #1 or among the safest city in the world – which website can we see that? The facts on crime statistics from PNP show that Davao City has the worst crime index.

The photoshopped picture of His Holiness Pope Francis supposedly endorsing Duterte. I think that picture is now withdrawn from circulation.

The photoshopped picture of Mar Roxas in HK rally with “words” put in his mounth…

The recent farmers rally in Kidapawan, Cotabato.

          and many more….

I involved myself in the above aspects. Let’s see whether I twisted facts.

Number.com cited Davao City as among the safest city in the world. EIU also used Numbeo.com data in its report on personal safety index.

As to the PNP crime statistics, please see my explanation why Davao City is second least dangerous to QC among the the top ten cities with highest number of index crimes. The average monthly crime rate using index crimes shows that QC had the lowest AMCR at 33 while Davao City was second with AMCR of 36.

        “mga taga-hangang walang kamalay-malay.”

The most educated and sophisticated socioeconomic class ABC prefers Duterte as president.

        • Johnny Lin says

          April 6, 2016 at 1:05 PM

Agree that Duterte is strong among ABC, as posted previously partly as a result of SC decision on Poe. This group believes he’s the answer to their frustration on corruption, rising violent crimes and drug dealings.our latest problem is becoming to be labeled as money launderers haven.

to beat Poe by counteracting her hold on D&E group, Duterte must capture 35-40% of ABC group. Duterte will not beat Poe in Luzon while Poe will not lose her 20-25% of Mindanao votes. FPJ is a folk hero too in Mindanao just like Digong.

Third debate is crucial for Duterte maintaining her charisma in his answers to attract more votes. Poe is the horse to beat. The dark one galloping fast is not Binay, it’s Duterte. Whether he will beat Grace by a the tip of his nose is difficult task but achievable if he gets INC votes.

Likewise Robredo has to keep herself visible in print TV and radio media to keep rising. She has to go around school campuses and followers be active on social media promoting her qualities and capabilities. Roxas is the most qualified and deserving yet he will not win because of bad luck happening to Aquino administration and misperceptions causing his “hard sell” persona. bringing us to the 5% “undecided” who might tilt the scale between Poe and Duterte. These undecided problem is really about Roxas, thinking this way “shall I vote for a loser or just be a winner regardless”. Mar has to onvince this group and garner a gargantuan percentage of OFW votes to be a winner. Such is his formidable task!

        • Ancient Mariner says

          April 6, 2016 at 7:39 PM

Even 100% of groups ABC is a drop in the ocean when it comes to winning the election.
