Just asking

Elaborate preparations that took all of overnight were made for today’s rally seeking to unseat Vice-President Leni Robredo.

You can watch the preparations here:

I’m wondering how much the preparations all cost – complete with a large stage, air-conditioned tents, a sophisticated sound and light system and of course dancing girls.

Everyone has the right to stage rallies.

However, the public also has the right to know who is paying for this particular rally, given that employees of the Tourism Promotion Board filed a complaint against their Chief Operating Officer Cesar Montano for, among others, using state funds to stage the pro-Rodrigo Duterte rally last month.  They accused Montano (once my favorite local actor) of using P16.5 million of our tax money for that rally.

This time, let’s start by finding out how much that set up cost. And who is footing the bill.

You can help by dialling the following numbers pasted on the delivery truck and asking them about it.
