Military still awaits Commander-in-Chief Duterte’s guidelines on how to operationalize Martial Law “on the ground”

The Armed Forces of the Philippines Western Mindanao Command has issued the following statement on President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration of Martial Law in all of Mindanao.

From the statement, it is clear that they have not moved to operationalize Martial Law. They are still awaiting orders from their Commander-in-Chief, Rodrigo Duterte.
