Eto yung video

OPINION: Imee Marcos told US court – yes, Archimedes Trajano was tortured and killed but it’s none of your business

CHANTING BONGBONG SUPPORTERS FLOCK TO SC ON DAY 1 OF VP VOTES RECOUNT

At least 200 supporters, wearing red shirts and Marcos-printed bandanas and chanting”B-B-M,” the moniker of the defeated vice presidential candidate, flocked in front of the high tribunal’s gate as of 9 a.m. yesterday

This scene will be the start of similar events as Imee campaigns for senator in not too distant future. This “hakot” system is expensive as they’re bussed, fed and given allowance. Although it’s peanuts to them with their billions, they have an edge over their opponents, like the “resistance coalition” led by Kiko Pangilinan and the LP minority senators, to counter the “The Force” under the ruling PDP-LABAN.

Let’s join the resistance coalition and chant NEVER AGAIN to show how we despise the marcoses. Imee and BBM stayed continuously in Malacanang for 21 years (1965-86) and they seem to like the powers, perks and the smell of the Palace amid the blood, sufferings and hardships of the inhabitants.

Notice that the Marcos supporters and the anti-Sereno faction inside the Supreme Court have the same color-coding.

Do our leaders follow, really follow
      the rule of law?

      When Lower House exercises power
      to impeach a constitutional officer
like the CJ, isn’t it already a decision
      to follow constitutional provisions
      on removal by impeachment?

So, why would the SC allow another
mode of removal like Quo Warranto
      vs the CJ?

The news on Sen. Drilon: Drilon: Sereno impeachment may not reach Senate court

Solgen is under the DOJ. DOJ is part
      of the Executive Dept.

      Why 2 Departments having inconsistent
position on such removal of the CJ?

What or who really has the power?

Does SC have jurisdiction on the Quo Warranto
vs the CJ? Or is it Congress?

Constitutional provision vs Rules of Court?
      Which prevails?

      (1) the rule of law or (2) rules of court? Simple but
      not simple?

If not on (1) but on (2) what is jurisdiction then?

Is anybody in the High Court missing something?

Or the Constitutional provision is something not clear enough?

Back to basics…rule of law speaks first of all on: Jurisdiction.

if acting cj carpio is power hungry, less principled and wants sereno’s job badly enough, he’ll coup with quo warranto and stops sereno from coming back to work for good.

          Quo Warranto –
          1. If CJ Sereno is a fake lawyer, quo warranto pet. may survived regardless of impeachment and trial by Senate.

          2. If CJ Sereno did not comply with all requirements of a law student as prscribed by SC, quo warranto may again survive for the same reason above.

          3. If CJ Sereno is a genuine lawyer and has been CJ for a number of years, writing decisions as Ponente for the Court, quo warranto pet. has prescribed as her appointment by the President as vetted by the JBC body is like final and cannot be voided.

          4. If 10 years have passed CJ Sereno has been sitting as CJ, quo warranto pet. is like a relic used to oust her on the grounds alleged in the Solgen’s quo warranto petition.

Altogether, constitutional provision on impeachment is what it is: stronger and a prevailing rule. Coupled with a very late pet. quo warranto instead of impeachment and conviction [or acquittal] extrajudicially [EJK] kills the constitutional provision if SC runs over CJ Sereno as CJ and also utterly entertains the lateness of the quo warranto petition.

No lawyer can imagine beyond all legal and logical thinking under law that this quo warranto pet. vs the CJ under the facts and circumstances is a win-win case.

People expect the SC to maintain decency.

‘Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio on Monday said the justices of the Supreme Court (SC) agreed that Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno should take a leave of absence to “preserve the integrity” of the tribunal as she battles an impeachment bid.’

. . . to preserve the integrity of the tribunal.

How about if 5 SC justices do not inhibit themselves in the Quo Warranto case vs CJ as prayed for

. . . and join the SC En Banc to render an order or decision against the CJ Sereno ousting the latter
as prayed for in the Pet. Quo Warranto,

. . . is that preserving the integrity of the tribunal[?] and being decent

on your question about following the law, my observation if the law favors them (you know who) Yes, they respect it. On the other hand… they bend it or create a law to justify themselves.

Example .. conflict of interest, having convicts to be witness in their favor, receiving of favors (remember pacman’s ) reinstating personalities and many more

they’re oddities, sam, oddities and feral galoring. bent lawyers and equally bent politicians equals bent man at the top. indignant and malicious, they’re all ganging up against those that tried to do the right thing, creating troubles when there is rarely any, just so they can stay relevant.

the man at the top cannot make decisions and sticking to them, changes his mind quite often the way he changes his socks lagi. friend to red, then contra to them, then friend again, then maybe not friend, and all the while the people are knackered, what the hell is wrong with him taking so long to reach final decision? laging flip flopping, laging dalawa ang isip. that’s why he cannot solve problems, always going back to square one where he is most comfortable and happy, familiar with the set up. this man is sabotaging himself, happy with failure and afraid of success. and while he’s busy comforting himself, problems are piling up and getting bigger.

time is money and time lost to indecision is money lost.

when the marcoses were uprooted during edsa 1 there was euphoria and catharsis having been freed and liberated from decade-long oppression and terror. hopes for a better life rekindled for the freedom-loving filipinos.

everyone thought that it was all over and done, lest the dictator’s tentacles just lurking in the sidelines.

we’re so focused in getting back at the vers, the romualdezes, the fonaciers, etc. but we’re just as forgiving to the enriles and ramoses. of course, it was so obvious then.

the late cory was just so overwhelmed by her new title and role then…it’s understandable of course for a mere “housewife-turned-president”. the pressure was just so unbearable that she didn’t notice the subtle complications and implications of her revolutionary gov’t. she was just drowned to it and later resuscitated by the same people who were just lurking in the sidelines.

but hopes were still strong then…until we failed again in the previous three admins who milked the country to the bones. filipinos didn’t learn their lessons that we even allowed the return of the predators.

and seems they’re on the threshold of grabbing the power again..God forbids.

am not blaming cory for the mess but it could have been prevented then…..

        April 4, 2018 at 12:03 PM

Let’s go back to history during Cory presidency and her successors

There were a series of coup attempts from 1986 to 1990 during the Cory administration led by Col. Gringo Honasan and his RAM boys supported by Enrile and AFP soldiers loyal to deposed dictator ferdinand marcos – no wonder the economy falters as foreign investors “flew out of the cuckoo’s nest” – and Cory, in disgust, could not do anything.
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986-90 Philippine coup attempts

But it’s different with FVR reign. He didn’t do anything tangible when the chinese bullies started building bamboo shelters at Mischief Reef located within our 200 miles exclusive economic zone in Palawan. Moreover, he is facing a house inquiry on the alleged anomalous lease of a P7.5 billion 5-hectare government property along Roxas Boulevard in Manila for just P1,000 a year
        https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2018/03/22/1799170/its-fidel-v-ramos-turn-be-invited-house-inquiry

It was ERAP, the conqueror of Camp Abubakar, who wanted to destroy the bamboo shelters that became a concrete 4-storey building but was prevailed upon by his advisers who feared an international incident may occur. Now, the mischief reef has an additional military structures whose landfill came from Agusan del Sur.
Erap didn’t bleed the country dry as GMA’s special court found him guilty of plunder since the money involved didn’t come from the public coffers but from jueteng money, says Atty. Rene Saguisag.

It was GMA’s reign whose alleged graft and corruption reached over the earth’s thermosphere but now so close and influential to PRRD due to her alleged huge campaign contributions to DU30 although reportedly dwarfed by the contributions of the marcoses

PInoy is now facing many raps such as dengvaxia mess, mamasapano massacre, DAP imbroglio, and the alleged anomalous maintenance provider of MRT-3 that involves his cabinet in-charge thereto

WHEN KILLERS TAKE THE REIGN OF POWER

Before Du30, the last killer-leader Philippines had was Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

There is something about the mindset of a person who relished killing another. Having killed someone seemed to give the murderer an entitlement and obsession to shut up any critics by any means including the murder of anyone who stand in his /her way.

With Marcos Sr, it is that absence of respect for human rights that pave the way for his decrees that facilitated arrest, search and seizure of millions of critics, which also paved the way for their eventual murders. consequently reaching its height with the killing of Ninoy.
Du30, during the campaign, boasted that Roxas cannot be a good president because he is not ready to kill. Du30 then claimed that a good political leader can only be effective if he is willing to kill as he had in the past.

When a killer tastes political power, the killer turned politician seemed to develop a sense of entitlement to the power and the perks that go with it including a sense of family destiny of the powers being enjoyed. The killer politician looks to any critics as simply to be bribed, threatened and eventually to be killed.

To a killer-politician. human rights of any one is non existent and obedience of others is a requirement. We experienced this with Marcos Sr and we are experiencing this with Du30.

With Imee’s involvement in the killing of Trajano, are we ready for another political leader with a questionable history of respecting a human life?

killing people to solve problems does not work. people may die, but problem remains. and now pinas is up to the neck in problems, no money to start with, barely enough rice to feed its people, not enough fish to go with rice.

killing may come easy to duterte, but look what he get in return? his drug war is un-ending, marawi is still not rebuild, prices of commodities are on the rise and rising still, investors are cautious except maybe the chinese, there is not enough money in the coffer, and justice has taken a hike. and still people are continuing to die, killed by polis.

killing people did not lessen duterte’s problem, blood lust did not make him good president. and death count has made duterte a heartless thug. sure, namumudmud siya ng pera to selected few, buying and compensating them for their misery, pera for their tears and broken lives, but the misery remains and the pera gone in an instant. and the cycle goes on.

giving pera to compensate for his lack of leadership is foolish and not good management. he should create more jobs so people can work for themselves and not be reliant on handouts. his build, build build is a myth, with mostly the chinese getting jobs, pinoys are still on endo and likely to lose jobs.

mukhang natataranta na si bato, fearing retaliation yata if tokhang report is made officially public like we dont know, he, he, he. we know all about the shooting and killing and excuses polis made to absolve themselves. halos daily diet na natin ang walang hantungang tokhang induced kamatayan mostly of private citizens rather than kapolisan and drug lords, the news reported and broadcast daily sa internet at tv, talk shows, radio shows, etc, spread and rapidly digested through all levels in society.

fear of retaliation, or fear of higher than normal tally of the dead? fear of polis brutality made public? fearful si bato, susmaryosep! report lang ang hiningi tapos panic kaagad si bato. pareho yata sila ni duterte both drama kings: duterte over reacted with withdrawing pinas from icc, and now bato takbo kaagad kay calida. help! help! help!

imee’s past is her future, always will be and trahano’s tragedy is her stumbling block. easily avoided if she only acknowledges what she had done in the past, ask forgiveness and make amends. or trahano will always be her twin and going where she goes.

magpamisa siya for trahano, that his soul may rest in peace. and change her name from marcos to that of her husband’s name, cut her ties from the past.
